Harry Potter Themed Lunch

We had lots of Harry's, Hermione's and an abundance of wizards and witches eating  in the Hogwarts dining hall on Thursday.  

Tex Mex Tuesday

11th May 2021

Tex-Mex Tuesday is always popular with plenty of meat and veggie options including patatas bravas. Today's chocolate and banana cake was delicious with melon, pineapple and yoghurts as alternatives for dessert.                                                  

Sausages galore!

  Last week's menu included sausages with Quorn ones for the non-pork eaters.

Summer Term Menu

21st April 2021

Our menu for the next three weeks are available to view here: Menus-Summer term 2021 We started the week with tasty and popular fajitas with rice, spicy potatoes and vegetable and chicken options for fillings. Lots of fresh salad accompaniments were on offer along with banoffee pie and fruit based desserts.               Wednesday's menu board (below) highlighted Roast Gammon or Onion and Feta Quiche and the salad bar has been moved to a central position as children are now able to help themselves more.

Chinese food and Pupils’ choice

23rd March 2021

We are asking pupils for feedback on the meals and the chef is enjoying cooking some of their suggestions. Today's pupils' choice was Spring Rolls served alongside fried rice, noodles and sweet and sour chicken. The Pea soup was thick and tasty and the choice of puddings included carrot cake, fruit and mousse.

Vegan options

22nd March 2021

Our chef John has been experimenting with meat replacements to produce some more interesting vegan options. Today's mock lamb tagine was really tasty and staff who tried it agreed that the texture was just like lamb. There were meatballs on offer for the meat eaters plus the usual soup (broccoli), salads and peach and cherry mouse, yoghurt and fruit (water melon or fresh pineapple) for desserts.
