Sports and Squads

Windlesham has a ‘Sport for All’ ethos where children of all ages and abilities frequently compete against other schools. From Year 4 there is a comprehensive fixtures programme that runs throughout the school year. We play local schools in friendly fixtures and enter competitions.

 Children are given the opportunity to participate in a broad and balanced curriculum involving both games and individual activities. In lessons children are taught the importance of following rules and get to experience winning and losing within competitive situations, as well as the importance of working together to achieve an end result. Our aim is that children will leave Windlesham with an enthusiasm for the subject which they will take with them to their next school.
